Passivation

In Ireland, BCD are a leader in Passivation Services, using licenced technology and chemistry to deliver services conforming to ASTM Standards A380 & A967. We have developed our experience of chemical applications through years of research and development. Our chelant passivation procedure is proven to achieve excellent Chromium/Iron (Cr/Fe) ratios and higher corrosion resistance, while also being the most environmentally friendly method of Passivation.

With the full resource of state of the art equipment and instrumentation, our experienced passivation teams provide customers with Degreasing, De-scaling, De-rouging, Passivation and Sanitisation services for a wide range of high purity process systems and equipment. We also provide dynamic flushing and chemical cleaning of low purity carbon steel process systems.

BCD will review a customer’s process system, and design cleaning circuits to effectively treat the system under the supervision of highly trained technicians and engineers. All our standard operating procedures are backed up by Method Statements and Risk Assessments for work in various environments, to comply with all industry health and safety regulations. Ever conscious of our environment, we comply with environmental responsibilities by ensuring that all waste is disposed of using licensed contractors.
